Summary

Commands can now attach structured Chronicle named tags to every event they append, so events from many streams can be grouped by project, import or tenant without changing their payloads.

Added

  • [EventTag("name", nameof(Property))] on a command tags every event it appends with a property value, or with a constant through Value (#2570)
  • ICanProvideEventTags on a command, and application-wide ICanProvideCommandEventTags services resolved per command from its scope, supply tags computed at runtime (#2570)
  • Returning an EventTags value from Handle() adds tags known only once the handler has run (#2570)

Fixed

  • Named tags set on a returned EventForEventSourceId are no longer dropped when the event is appended (#2570)
