Summary

Arc now reports misuse of [GeneratedValue] at build time, before the application refuses to start.

Added

  • ARC0022 (error): a [GeneratedValue] parameter's type cannot generate itself, or is nullable. (part of #3128)
  • ARC0023 (error): [GeneratedValue] is used outside a command's Handle method, for example on Provide, a static method, a read-model method or a controller action. (part of #3128)
  • ARC0024 (error): two generated values on the same Handle have the same name. (part of #3128)
  • ARC0025 (warning): the command's Provide method also supplies the generated value's type, which is never used for that parameter. (part of #3128)
  • A documentation page for each of these analyzer rules. (part of #3128)
