Release v22.90.0
Summary
Chronicle self-reducing read models (Chronicle 19.58.0 and later) now work in Arc applications with the read model, its Reduce methods and its queries on one record, without extra attributes.
Added
- Arc.Chronicle recognizes Chronicle self-reducing read models, so injecting one into a command, validator or
Provide()reads it through Chronicle, including personal-data release, instead of falling back to reading MongoDB directly. Requires Chronicle 19.58.0 or later in the application. (#3233) - Screenplay recognizes self-reducing read models as reducer-built, including reducers whose event parameter is an interface or base class, and reports when it cannot list every observed event. (#3233)
Changed
- A static method on a
[ReadModel]that takes the read model itself as a parameter, such as a self-reducing read model'sReduce(event, current), is no longer exposed as a query endpoint or generated proxy. The rule applies the same way to runtime discovery, the TypeScript proxy generator, query metadata, Screenplay and the analyzers; marking such a method[Query]is reported as an error.RequireQueryAttributekeeps working as before. (#3239) ARCCHR0019no longer warns that a self-parameterReducemethod would become a query endpoint. (#3239)
