• Subscribing an observer no longer waits for every failed partition to be handed to the jobs manager for recovery. An observer with hundreds of failed partitions previously exceeded the 30 second grain-call budget inside Subscribe, so the client timed out and the observer stayed unsubscribed - after a kernel restart this left reactors quarantined and projections disconnected until the next restart. Recovery now runs in a turn of the observer's own once the subscription is established.
