Release v19.36.0
Event types can now be declared public, and a read model can publish its projected events to an event sequence such as the outbox.
Added
[Public]attribute marks an event type as public so it can be published outside the event log. (part of #4634)[PublishTo]attribute and event sequence targets let a projection or reducer append its output as events to a named event sequence. (part of #4635)- Event type visibility and origin are stored with registered event types in the in-memory, MongoDB and SQL providers. (part of #4636)
- Publications are recorded idempotently, and registering two publishers of the same event type to one sequence is rejected. (part of #4639)
- Documentation for public events and event sequence targets. (part of #927)
Changed
- Appending a private event type to the outbox is now rejected, and the event log cannot be used as a publication target.
- The event type registration contract carries visibility and origin; clients that omit them keep working.
