• When two versions of an application are connected at once and the newer one's observer registration replaced the older one, the observer no longer stops when the newer client disconnects: it hands over to the still-connected older client, which carries on from where processing stopped. The newest registration still wins while both are connected, and events of types only the departed client handled are not delivered to the client that takes over. (#4987)
