• EnumConverter now reads and writes plain enums through their underlying type, so enums with any backing type (including uint, long and ulong values outside the int range) deserialize from numbers instead of throwing ArgumentException, and out-of-range or non-integer numbers raise a JsonException naming the enum, its backing type and the value (#1155)
