A structure whose descriptor lists the fields an editor offers can now say that its stored value may carry more, so a host can edit it without refusing - or dropping - what it does not describe.

Added

  • PropertyDescriptor.open and CollectionItemDescriptor.open mark an Object property or the items of a Collection as open: fields the descriptor does not describe are kept exactly as stored and never edited, instead of being refused. Described fields are still checked. See Descriptors. (part of #70)
