Release v4.3.0
Scene can now describe what is editable on a screen, inspect and edit it, and let a template author hand some of it to the screens built on the template.
Added
- Property and component descriptors that packages ship next to their components, with a
descriptorslist on the package bundle and descriptors for thecoreandCratis.Componentscomponents. (#51) inspectandapplyEditin@cratis/scene.engine: node provenance, effective values and editability, and pure immutable edits for properties, layout type changes, and inserting, moving and removing nodes. Refused edits return the original document and diagnostics. (#51)- Layout type capabilities and conversions, with lossy conversions refused until the author accepts what is dropped. (#51)
- Exposure and instance configuration: templates expose properties and collection operations, nested templates re-expose and only narrow, screens store their own contributions apart from the template, and
resolveEffectiveConfigurationmerges them for both the editor and the renderer. (#51) QueryCandidateandQueryBindingcontracts withvalidateBinding, andIconReferenceandDestinationReferencevalue types. (#51)- A
core:navigationBarcomponent whose items a template can expose to its screens. (#51) SceneElementViewaccepts a resolvedconfigurationto render a configured template. (#51)- Documentation for editing, exposure and query binding. (#51)
Changed
- A data table's
queryproperty now also accepts aQueryBinding; a plain query name still works. (#51)
