• The Cratis Components command form's Generate fields action, its command property editor and its layout editor submitted SetProperty edits addressed by the bare element id, and the action's generated fields carried no item id. A host applies edits to the document by node id (element:<id>, elementNodeId) and the editing engine refuses a collection item without an id ('Fields': every item needs an id), so the editor refused the batch and nothing changed. The edits now address the element by its node id and each generated field has an id, so Generate fields applies and is one undo step in the host's history (part of Cratis/StudioIssues#863)

Proof: the specifications for the action and the generic design-time context expect element:form and item ids; Studio's screen editor, with the package patched the same way, applies Generate fields (applied: true, four fields with ids) where the published package is refused.
