• semantic-diff compares the open workspace, a model folder or worktree, or an export: pass before and after as { "workspace": "active" }, { "path": "<folder>" } or { "workspaceJson": "<export>" }. A folder is read without writing anything, uses its persisted identities when it has them, and a folder with a pending interrupted write is refused (#558)

• semantic-diff reloads both sides on every page, so a continuation after either side changed is refused as stale. beforeWorkspaceJson and afterWorkspaceJson keep working; combining one with the matching source object is refused (#558)
