• The Screenplay MCP server reads the folders a host shares with it from the roots array that the MCP schema defines. It expected a different field, so with Claude Desktop the startup handshake failed, Claude restarted the server between calls, and every call after open-workspace failed with "Open a workspace first" or a rejected fallback folder.
• A failure while handling a notification is now written to the server's log instead of being sent back as an error with a null id, which made hosts drop the connection. The session stays open.
