Release v4.79.0
Summary
The semantic Stage Host now runs models with event-triggered reactions instead of refusing them. A live command and every reaction it sets off are settled together and appended as one batch.
Added
- The semantic Stage Host settles event-triggered reactions after each command, including
where, runs as,from, productions, invocations, mixed effects and cascades, using Screenplay's reference settlement. The command's events and the reactions' events are appended in one tail-guarded batch; a rejected, denied or unsupported reaction refuses the whole command and appends nothing. (part of #207)
Changed
STAGE-ESM-024for event-triggered reactions now applies only to the specification executor, which still does not run reactions. Clock, application, startup and shutdown triggers and opaque reaction bodies still failSTAGE-ESM-024in both the Host and the specification executor. (part of #207)- The reaction rendering reference explains how the Host, rendered Chronicle reactors and the specification executor each handle event reactions: https://github.com/Cratis/Stage/blob/main/Documentation/reference/reaction-rendering.md (part of #207)
