Changed
Stage builds on Screenplay and its canonical corpus 4.159.0. Models that use ESM v17 (explicit no-event assertions and recovery redelivery, Screenplay decision 0074) are still refused with STAGE-ESM-016 until Stage renders them (see #371). (#388)
Fixed
SemanticModelLoader and CratisRendering.PlanFrom accept a model root's own .screenplay/identities.json as CatalogPath, the file the Screenplay MCP and screenplay baseline admit write, as well as a bare identity catalog. Stage reads it through Screenplay's public ScreenplayModelRoot and PersistedIdentityStateSerializer. Loading a whole root also computes the release-baseline assessment for the same workspace that is rendered, so STAGE-BASELINE warnings work from a real model root. A root that cannot be opened (pending recovery, conflicting identity state, unreadable metadata) reports STAGE-BASELINE-003 or STAGE-BASELINE-004 without throwing. (#388)
In model-root mode, .play files under folders Screenplay does not read (.git, .ai-work, bin, obj, node_modules) are left out of folder selections, as screenplay baseline check does. A file named explicitly that the root does not read is refused with STAGE-PLAN-001 and is never silently dropped. (#388)
