Description
The issue I'm having with Create Aeronautics is that propeller bearings work fine when first placed on a physical object, but after reconnecting to the server or when the physical object has been unloaded and then reloaded from memory, they randomly end up in a broken state. This happens on any physical object, and eventually affects all of them.
When this happens, the sails either appear duplicated in multiple places, with one still spinning and passing through the others, or the propeller spins and animates but doesn't apply any physics. The vehicle doesn't move, and no force shows up in the debug diagram, as if the propeller is physically disconnected from the object.
Once this occurs, it's impossible to right-click the propeller bearing to set it back to static mode. The only way to fix it is to break the bearing, which also removes the propeller. If you break the connection it holds to the physical object, it drops and resets to the grid as if it had been right-clicked. However, if you reattach it and try to start it again, nothing happens—it can't reconnect physically. Even applying rotation manually doesn't work, so you still have to break it. This at least saves you from having to rebuild the propeller.
I found a workaround to prevent this: every time I leave a vehicle, I right-click all the working propeller bearings to set them to static mode. This way, they're no longer part of the contraption, and I haven't had any issues restarting them afterward. However, this is still tedious, as I have to do it every time for every vehicle whenever I stop. Plus, it's not foolproof—if the server crashes or there's a connection issue, the problem can still occur.
On small structures with one or two propellers, it's manageable. But on larger ones, like with seven propellers and very large sails (50+ blocks), it's much more annoying.
I'm already using the latest version of Create Aeronautics on the old Fabric version of Sable. I tried switching to Sable 2.0, but it crashes due to major conflicts with Solium and likely other mods that aren't compatible with Sable 2.0. Ideally, I'd like to stay on the current Sable version, but if the issue is fixed in later versions, I'm open to that. It might also be a bug caused by another outdated mod.

Description
The issue I'm having with Create Aeronautics is that propeller bearings work fine when first placed on a physical object, but after reconnecting to the server or when the physical object has been unloaded and then reloaded from memory, they randomly end up in a broken state. This happens on any physical object, and eventually affects all of them.
When this happens, the sails either appear duplicated in multiple places, with one still spinning and passing through the others, or the propeller spins and animates but doesn't apply any physics. The vehicle doesn't move, and no force shows up in the debug diagram, as if the propeller is physically disconnected from the object.
Once this occurs, it's impossible to right-click the propeller bearing to set it back to static mode. The only way to fix it is to break the bearing, which also removes the propeller. If you break the connection it holds to the physical object, it drops and resets to the grid as if it had been right-clicked. However, if you reattach it and try to start it again, nothing happens—it can't reconnect physically. Even applying rotation manually doesn't work, so you still have to break it. This at least saves you from having to rebuild the propeller.
I found a workaround to prevent this: every time I leave a vehicle, I right-click all the working propeller bearings to set them to static mode. This way, they're no longer part of the contraption, and I haven't had any issues restarting them afterward. However, this is still tedious, as I have to do it every time for every vehicle whenever I stop. Plus, it's not foolproof—if the server crashes or there's a connection issue, the problem can still occur.
On small structures with one or two propellers, it's manageable. But on larger ones, like with seven propellers and very large sails (50+ blocks), it's much more annoying.
I'm already using the latest version of Create Aeronautics on the old Fabric version of Sable. I tried switching to Sable 2.0, but it crashes due to major conflicts with Solium and likely other mods that aren't compatible with Sable 2.0. Ideally, I'd like to stay on the current Sable version, but if the issue is fixed in later versions, I'm open to that. It might also be a bug caused by another outdated mod.
