@github-actions github-actions released this 21 Oct 06:13

Switchyard keeps every Claude, Codex, Gemini and Copilot account you pay for side by side, shows how much of each limit is left, and opens the right CLI on the right account.

What's in 0.2.0

  • Terminal grid: up to nine CLIs in one window, each pane on its own account with its own meter. Continue a chat on another account in one click when one hits its limit.
  • Sessions: keep several grids in a collapsible list beside the terminals. Hidden sessions keep running.
  • Collapsible sidebar (Ctrl+B).
  • Knowledge tab: one shared profile per tool (skills, agents, instructions, plugins, settings) that every account links to, instead of the main folder. Chat history stays linked to the main folder.
  • Permission mode per tool (for example Claude in bypass permissions), used every time Switchyard starts a CLI, for every account.
  • Move to another computer: export your accounts, skills, preferences and encrypted sign-ins to one file and import it on Windows, macOS or Linux. Importing only adds, never replaces or removes.
  • Claude Desktop keeps each profile's sign-in, and the account it's already signed in to opens the normal app.
  • Accounts refresh by themselves as soon as a sign-in finishes.
  • Closing the new-profile form by accident offers to keep it as a draft in the accounts list.
  • Pick your plan (current Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot plans) when creating or editing a profile; the monthly cost fills in.
  • Dark design with a custom title bar, real tool logos and a new icon.
  • Start at login (hidden in the tray), single instance, tray shortcut to the terminal grid.
  • Data from AI Hopper or Baton is copied over on first start.

Install

  • Windows: Switchyard_0.2.0_x64-setup.exe (or the .msi)
  • macOS: Switchyard_0.2.0_aarch64.dmg (Apple silicon) or Switchyard_0.2.0_amd64.dmg (Intel)
  • Linux: .AppImage, .deb or .rpm

The builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper may ask you to confirm the first time.
