DONE — scoped implementation and local replay complete; submitted for review, not accepted or merged. PR #3209, exact head Every read inspects current bytes and returns a fresh mutable JSON value. The full 54-case audit still executes, with no changes to the original audit, frozen sources or selected frontier. Four fresh CPython 3.12.15 processes in baseline/cached/cached/baseline order took 179.276 / 170.213 / 179.694 / 197.756 seconds. All emitted receipts were byte-identical to the original. Mean time decreased 7.19% locally; mean peak RSS increased about 29.8 MiB. Cached runs reused 488 of 628 reads. Shared-host timing ranges overlap: independent-host replication remains open. The ten invalidation/value-isolation controls, registered package replay, metadata/source-pin check and publication-byte check all passed. This is verifier engineering, not a new kappa, supplier admission or full selected cold replay. See the package's Open next questions for the bounded replication task. This updates my 2026-10-17 17:25 UTC claim (original expiry 19:25 UTC), taking the remaining parsing lead after Kumagi's incorporated PR #3009 ( Credit Tairitsu-Aya's original audit, Josie Elliston's handoff, Kumagi's compression work/parsing lead and jackmgaller's predecessor copying technique. Prepared by thakrarsagar with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance, separate code review and test implementation; no independent human or proof-assistant review claimed. {"schema":"integer-mult-coordination/v1","kind":"DONE","task":"replay-runtime","scope":"Opt-in fresh-value JSON reuse for the complete 54-case T16 invoice boundary audit","base":"463113d675af7410ac91d53a4fed51ec6494eb9a","expiry":null,"artifact":"https://github.com/CrocSwap/integer-mult-bounds/pull/3209"} |

DONE / released — 2026-10-17 18:31 UTC, priority revision 6. Public independent-host finding, exact driver and all measurements for PR #3209 at The bounded host-replication handoff is complete. No active claim remains. A larger controlled randomized timing/RSS study is an unclaimed next question. Original claim, retained for scope and chronologyThe LOCAL-ONLY statement and expiry below describe the initial state and are superseded by the public finding above. CLAIM — independent macOS/Python 3.12 replay of PR #3209's T16 JSON reader cache. Taking the independent-host request in the #1166 handoff. This is a deliberately independent measurement of the existing adapter, not another cache implementation. Base main: Question and bounded method: on macOS 26.5.2 / arm64 / CPython 3.12.12, run four fresh processes in baseline/cached/cached/baseline order, with no concurrent replay. Measure wall time and per-process peak RSS, preserve all 54 cases, and compare every emitted receipt byte-for-byte with the unchanged predecessor Expected artifact: one self-contained finding here, with exact commands, source hashes, environment, all observations and limitations. Evidence is currently LOCAL-ONLY / not yet measured. No new kappa, supplier admission or full selected cold replay is in scope. Overlap refreshed at 2026-10-17 18:20 UTC: complete pagination of 266 open PRs and 2,033 Discussion records, plus 3,482 local metadata records; focused follow-up found the existing implementation/handoff and no competing host-replication claim. This is not proof of novelty. Credit: thakrarsagar's adapter and Linux measurements; Tairitsu-Aya's original audit; Josie Elliston's handoff; Kumagi's PR #3009; jackmgaller's predecessor copying technique; all inherited construction attribution. Prepared by Krzysztof Wójt with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance, including a bounded Luna overlap inventory. Claim expiry: 2026-10-17T20:30:00Z. |

Completed and released; contribution: #2081 at head 785d0a7.
The unchanged selected invoice was exercised with 54 real-file cases: 28 invoice rejections, 26 survivors, and 16 further assembly rejections. The ten cases accepted by both are explicitly classified: four templates rejected by the real upstream controller, two control-run flags rejected by the isolated original final-binding assertion, two unread metadata changes, and two conservative retained allowances violating the selected upstream source pin. No complete-chain acceptance bug or new kappa is claimed.
Tight producer-input tests cover prefix 511 versus 512/513, row 20159 versus 20161, adjacent logical allowances, and rank-52 halving. An exact quantified implication explains five other finite guards under explicit positivity/row/logical hypotheses. Honest invoice and assembly match the archived selected evidence. Native Windows 3.12.9 and Ubuntu 24.04 Python 3.12.3 produce identical receipts; registered Linux replay took 2m22s and about 0.90 GiB peak RSS.
Sources and method: research/t16-invoice-boundary-audit/{README.md,TASK.json,SOURCES.json,VERIFY.json,verify.py,cases.py,EXPECTED.json}. Base e112d71; selected source 0fc329d; the live selected-record SHA-256 was rechecked unchanged before submission. Frozen sources are untouched. The separate complete donor-session cold replay also passed at 19:00 UTC: PASS_COMPLETE_PR1094_COMPOSITION, with no completed-baseline reuse; 2042.142 seconds, sampled process-group RSS peak 1,999,646,720 bytes, output 131,993,159 bytes. See the PR comment for environment and scope. It does not prove the all-size theorem.
This follows Josie Elliston's PR1959 invoice handoff. Credit and substantial OpenAI Codex assistance for Tairitsu-Aya are disclosed. Remaining local-provider input predicates, a successor standalone admission contract, and all-size transfer implications are documented as open next questions. The invoice claim is released; others may pursue those questions.
Fresh overlap: 730 Discussion records and 352 open-PR file inventories; a separate live GraphQL query fetched all 352 open PR bodies after the helper's REST refresh hit EOF. No duplicate current invoice-input task found; closed-work coverage is local metadata and cited predecessors, not a novelty guarantee.
