I (Mine333), am no longer interested on working on OpenBack, this project was and is still a lot of work, that's why I will stop working on the project myself, But if you know Skript, you are fully allowed (and encouraged) to add new features and continue my work, I am still open to accepting contributors, I just don't want to work alone on this project, If i see new work being done on the project I might re-open the public server, but i dont to host a dead project server

Before I leave, i will release an easy to host version of server for you to play

  1. Download the file (OpenBack.RL.7z) and unzip it, (you can use 7zip for that)
  2. Install Java 17

Linux

# Fedora 
sudo dnf install java-17-openjdk java-17-openjdk-devel
# Debian (Ubuntu PopOS!..)
sudo apt-get -y install openjdk-17-jdk 

# Start the server
java -jar ./purpur-1.20.2-2092.jar

Windows
Installer: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/jdk17-archive-downloads.html

Then open the file named "purpur-1.20.2-2092.jar" to start the server

MacOS
Here

  1. Join the server
    Type "localhost" or "0" into the ip field to join the server
