• Improved diagnostics: relevant kernel Dolby Vision errors are now included in kodi.log, making playback issues easier to investigate.
• More reliable Profile 7 FEL playback: fixes picture-order issues and freezes after seeking in affected files, while preserving the requested playback position.

Opt1 - Lower Dolby Vision GPU load

• Black-bar optimization: skips unnecessary processing outside the active picture. Not limited to FEL—applies to supported DV profiles with active-area metadata. Around 11% lower rendering load in tested letterboxed sections.
• libplacebo optimization: removes redundant filtering work without changing image quality. Not limited to FEL, with around 12% lower rendering load in tested full-frame sections.

Combined: approximately 16% lower rendering load overall, up to 24% in letterboxed sections.

Measured on i7-11390H.

The bundle includes the exact build sources, patches, notices and original build receipt. Notices and the receipt are grouped in corresponding-sources/release-information/. All original source entries are preserved.

GitHub’s automatic Source code ZIP/TAR downloads contain only this patch repository, not the complete LibreELEC build sources.

Independent experimental community build; not an official LibreELEC, Kodi, Dolby or Intel release. Back up before updating. This is the same v0.1.0-rc1: the tag and both binary downloads are unchanged.
