Dungeon v8.0.0 Release Notes

Status: published. GitHub release v8.0.0 is live and governance proposal #37 is in voting.

Summary

Dungeon v8.0.0 is the Hyperlane foundation upgrade for dungeon-1. It adds the native Hyperlane modules needed for Dungeon-owned DGN bridge routes to EVM and Solana/SVM.

Changes

  • Adds Hyperlane core module: hyperlane
  • Adds Hyperlane warp module: warp
  • Adds KV stores for hyperlane and warp
  • Adds v8 software upgrade handler
  • Initializes default Hyperlane core and warp genesis state at upgrade height
  • Enables collateral-token support on Dungeon for the first release
  • Keeps synthetic mint/burn behavior disabled on Dungeon until a later governance-approved upgrade
