omind 10.3.0 — Grok Build gets setup, doctor, the guard, and quickstart.

omind setup --agent grok registers the omi MCP server in ~/.grok/config.toml, installs lifecycle hooks in ~/.grok/hooks/omind.json, the packaged skill, and a home rule at ~/.grok/rules/omind.md. The guard accepts Grok's camelCase hook events, including when Grok runs the Claude-compatible hook, counts omi__ tools as a memory consult, and denies with stdout JSON so the reason is what Grok shows. A hooks or rules file that cannot be read is left in place.

Added

  • Grok Build (grok) support (#470). Setup, doctor, and quickstart wire the MCP server, hooks, skill, and rules file. $GROK_HOME overrides ~/.grok.
  • Grok hook payloads. The guard reads toolName, toolInput, sessionId, and hookEventName, and maps Grok's built-in tool names onto the names it already classifies. The embedding model load no longer prints a Hugging Face progress bar onto the deny channel.

Fixed

  • Grok setup refuses to replace a hooks or rules file it cannot read. Invalid JSON or an unreadable hooks file raises ProvisionError. A rules file that exists but cannot be decoded is left in place.

Upgrade: Linux/macOS omind self-update, then omind setup --agent grok. Windows: close every agent session, then from a plain terminal:
