Add an optional update service that keeps updates working when download names or supported package formats change. Every update is verified before installation.
Add Linux tar.gz and macOS DMG downloads alongside the existing ZIP packages.
Support Windows ZIP and MSI; Linux ZIP, tar.gz, DEB, RPM and Arch packages; and macOS ZIP and DMG in the new update service.
Approve updates that need an intermediate version once, then let the manager finish the remaining steps automatically. Supported installer updates can also reuse one administrator approval.
