Erios 1.1.3

This update improves the reliability, security, and visual behavior of Erios updates on Windows.

Improvements

  • Added confirmation when Erios starts successfully after an update.
  • Improved updater diagnostics for easier troubleshooting.
  • Improved the behavior of update notifications.
  • Preserved Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts while application files are replaced.
  • Added a stable icon source to prevent the Erios shortcut from appearing blank during updates.
  • Prevented global Desktop icon refreshes during future Erios upgrades.
  • Added automated converter tests and build-time validation.
  • Hardened the packaged application and custom installer against unauthorized modification.

Important note

When upgrading from an earlier version to 1.1.3, Windows may briefly refresh the Desktop icons once because the previously installed uninstaller predates this fix.

Future updates starting from Erios 1.1.3 will not repeat this behavior.

Manual installation

Download Erios-Installer-1.1.3.exe to use the custom installation interface.

Erios-Setup-1.1.3.exe is primarily used by the automatic updater.

This release does not change the conversion formulas.
