ShareViaLAN Desktop Release

This release provides the Windows and Linux versions of ShareViaLAN.

ShareViaLAN lets devices on the same Wi-Fi/LAN share files, messages, and media directly without using cloud servers or internet uploads.

Windows

Download and run:

ShareViaLAN-Setup-1.0.2.exe

Linux

Download:

ForLinux.tar.gz

Extract the ZIP file, then follow the included Linux installation instructions.

What you can do

• Connect Android, Windows, and Linux devices on the same Wi-Fi/LAN
• Send files between phone and PC
• Share videos, images, documents, APKs, ZIPs, and other file types
• Use local chat/messaging
• Transfer files privately over your local network
• No cloud upload required

Basic usage

1. Install ShareViaLAN on your desktop.
2. Install/open ShareViaLAN on your Android device.
3. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi, hotspot, or LAN.
4. Open the app on both devices.
5. Select the discovered device and start sharing files.

Notes

• Both devices must be connected to the same local network.
• If devices are not discovered, check firewall/network permissions.
• This is an early desktop release, so feedback and bug reports are welcome.
