Release Notes - v1.8.0

  • Idle CPU: Cut tray idle CPU by throttling Chromium while the window is hidden, pausing clocks and monitors when the UI is not visible, and dropping work that kept the renderer awake in the background.
  • App Icon: Refreshed the application icon and all public size variants used by the window, installer, and in-app logo.
  • In-app Logo: Removed the extra framed box around the logo in the main UI and About, and applied a subtle cyan glow instead.
  • Taskbar: Replaced the duplicate logo at the bottom-left of the taskbar with a + control to add a new shortcut directly to the bar.
