CyberManager v1.3.0: Release Notes

CyberManager v1.3.0 brings a substantially more polished Compact mode, richer process identity, reliable Windows startup, and a more complete settings experience.

Highlights

  • Compact mode refinement: Improved title bar controls, dragging, metrics, search, column headers, process heatmaps, context actions, resizing, selection behavior, and tray/taskbar lifecycle.
  • Editable global hotkey: Added live modifier capture, conflict handling, reset and clear actions. The default shortcut is now Alt+Shift+M.
  • Search history and heavy-process filter: Added persistent recent searches and a synchronized filter showing the 10 heaviest processes in Full and Compact modes.
  • Process Properties: Added a localized properties dialog with friendly names, file metadata, runtime statistics, and graceful fallbacks.
  • Reliable startup with Windows: Added hybrid Task Scheduler and registry registration, requesting elevation only when required.
  • Settings improvements: Added a complete factory reset, separate tray behavior for minimizing and closing, clearer helpers, and an About footer with CyberGems branding.
  • Theme and visual polish: Softer default row contrast, calibrated theme saturation, modern vector icons for system processes, and a branded animated startup loader.

Fixes

  • Fixed a XAML resource lookup crash when switching to Compact mode.
  • Maximization now respects monitor work areas and taskbars.
  • Unified search hover and focus styling, clear controls, grid alignment, header hover feedback, and context-menu availability.
  • Standardized modal buttons, keyboard affordances, suppressed confirmations, and tray behavior defaults.
  • Friendly process names are now shown directly in the Full and Compact process lists.
