Achievements and Progress
CyberPaste can track personal usage progress and celebrate long-term clipboard milestones without collecting telemetry. The feature is local-only and enabled by default.
Progress is stored only in the local CyberPaste profile. CyberPaste does not send clipboard contents, usage data, analytics, or achievement activity to CyberGems.
The original profile date records the first known use of the profile. New profiles set it on first startup; existing profiles use the profile or database creation timestamp when Windows provides one.
Progress records accepted local actions:
- Clips captured, counted once for each unique clip saved
- Clips pasted or copied from CyberPaste
- Deliberate searches, with rapid refreshes ignored
- Folders created, clips pinned, and completed AI actions
- Active calendar days and the current consecutive-day streak
- Captured clip types
Ignored applications, rejected content, duplicate captures, and repeated clipboard notifications do not inflate the clip milestone.
Clip milestones are intentionally long-term:
- First clip
- 1,000 clips
- 5,000 clips
- 10,000 clips
- 25,000 clips, the highest clip milestone
Additional achievements cover pastes, searches, organization, AI actions, supported clip types, and 7, 30, 100, and 365 active days.
Open Settings → Achievements & Progress to:
- Disable progress collection without deleting existing progress
- Disable achievement notifications separately
- Reset counters and unlocked achievements
Resetting progress does not delete clips and preserves the original profile date.
Manual and automatic backups include:
- The original profile date
- Lifetime progress totals
- Daily activity summaries
- Unlocked achievements and their unlock dates
Progress is stored separately from clipboard rows, so deleting clips, pruning history, or changing the history limit does not erase achievements. Older backups that predate achievements remain importable; if they contain no progress snapshot, existing local progress is preserved.
