Welcome to the official CyberViewer v1.15.0 release! CyberViewer is a fast, privacy-first Windows image viewer focused on accurate rendering, productive inspection tools, and a polished desktop experience.

✨ Key Features & Highlights

  • 🖼️ Image Viewing & Inspection:

    • Added AVIF support across Open dialogs, Explorer launching, drag-and-drop, thumbnails, MIME handling, and Windows file associations.
    • Replaced the adjustment modal with a right-side drawer that previews changes directly on the main image, with a live-preview toggle and momentary A/B comparison.
    • Refined adjustment controls, reset behavior, and the option to apply edits to a copy.

  • 🧭 Navigation & Workflow:

    • Added a title-bar Help menu and a dedicated Configuration shortcut, with quick access to documentation, updates, and tray guidance.
    • Added a Backup & Data settings tab that groups backup import/export and recovery controls with actions to open the data folder, clear thumbnail cache, and clear recent history.
    • Added guidance for keeping the tray icon visible, including a Windows taskbar-settings helper and optional reminders.

  • 🎨 Interface & Accessibility:

    • Refined Configuration as a sliding side panel, prevented horizontal overflow, polished controls, and added an About footer with the application version.
    • Added translucent glass styling to floating menus and the adjustment drawer; rendered menu flyouts outside composited parents so backdrop blur works correctly.
    • Unified toolbar SVG geometry and softened action styling while retaining accent colors.
    • Refined title-bar branding, the welcome banner, About and donation content, and documentation links, with English and Spanish UI coverage.

  • 🔄 Updates & Reliability:

    • Stabilized tray-menu reopening, positioning, and click handling, and restored native tray flyouts and icons.
    • Added browser-based AVIF thumbnail handling and format-specific thumbnail cache keys.
    • Expanded regression coverage for AVIF, live adjustments, Backup & Data settings, Help menus, and tray reminders.
