    • Balanced Proportions: Expanded panel width to 132px, giving room for comfortable 64px card heights and legible folder names without aggressive truncation.

    • Native OS Shell Thumbnails: Integrated nativeImage.createThumbnailFromPath, directly leveraging Windows Shell thumbnail extraction and embedded EXIF previews without decompressing massive 4K/8K images into RAM.
    • Debounced Disk Cache Eviction: Replaced synchronous per-file cache scans with debounced background eviction, saving hundreds of thousands of synchronous disk I/O operations during large folder traversals.
    • Parallel Worker Pool: The background scanner now processes up to 3 concurrent items with cooperative micro-yields, ensuring butter-smooth 60fps scrolling and canvas interactions even in folders with hundreds of wallpapers.

  • 🧠 Smart Folder Scan Caching & State Preservation:

    • Folder Signature Detection: Implemented computeFolderSignature and an LRU session cache (up to 30 folders), hydrating cached thumbnails instantaneously when returning to previously scanned directories.
    • Sidebar Toggle Preservation: Closing the thumbnail sidebar freezes progress without resetting the footer radar to zero; reopening a fully cached folder bypasses rescanning completely.
    • Dynamic Progress Tracking: Real-time folder stats ensure the scanner accurately reaches 100% without stalling when thumbnails are loaded asynchronously or fail.
    • Clipboard Paste Synchronization: Pasting images from the clipboard (Ctrl+V) instantly synchronizes session state and resets the scanner cleanly to 100% [1/1].

    • Unified title bar action geometries and refined divider line thickness.
