v1.17.0
Highlights
QuickRoute 1.17.0 adds destination discovery, currency-vendor routing and saved trips. Search recorded NPC and quest-giver locations, select a currency to compare estimated travel times to its vendors, or plan a trip with up to 20 stops. Each leg is recalculated from the character's current position and available transport. These additions and the routing corrections were contributed by @CybotTM in #59.
Travel planning now includes Zidormi phase changes, individually unlocked Mole Machine stops, selectable engineering destinations, faction garrisons and observed camp and housing destinations. Routes preserve the walk from a landing point to the target, retain competing transport options and recheck current quest targets, vendor offers and character access.
For an unowned teleport item, left-click opens its ALL THE THINGS details when ATT can supply them, otherwise QuickRoute's acquisition help. Right-click opens QuickRoute's help directly, with available requirements, source information and a route when an eligible source position is recorded. Following installed-client reports from @CybotTM, the UI replaces unsupported header glyphs with native artwork, fits the main window to smaller screens and gives detached teleport buttons independent drawing levels. Window backgrounds are opaque to keep underlying labels out of the text.
Neutral characters now receive neutral flight masters without gaining hostile faction services, fixing #28 through @CybotTM's #58.
Compatibility and scope
Targets WoW Retail 12.1.0. TomTom and ALL THE THINGS are optional. Routes minimize estimated travel time through recorded connections and observable character state; they do not provide terrain navigation around every obstacle or guarantee coverage of every hidden phase, moving NPC or unknown quest target. Global NPC/quest search may require an English name or ID when a translation has not been resolved.
The package includes source notices and licenses. The release workflow runs Lua tests in both file orders, lint and Python generator/packaging checks; it also validates the tag against the TOC version and requires HTTP 2xx responses from addon stores. These release gates were added in @CybotTM's #60. The workflow records a build-provenance attestation for the GitHub ZIP, added in @CybotTM's #56.
