This release focuses heavily on backend stability, proxy performance, and polishing the app's visual identity across different platforms.
🐛 Bug Fixes & Stability
- Fixed Playback Seek Deadlock: Rewrote the internal proxy stream handler to gracefully handle backpressure when skipping or seeking through tracks, eliminating the bug where the player would freeze on a seek.
- Removed Connection Kill-Switches: Background track preloading errors will no longer aggressively kill active socket connections for the currently playing song.
- Resolved YouTube 403 Errors: Enhanced the proxy retry logic to seamlessly fallback to muxed audio streams if YouTube triggers a 403 restriction on pure audio streams.
- Queue Hydration Race Conditions: Added strict queue-length gate checks when loading playlists in the background to prevent overlapping state errors.
🎨 UI & Polish
- New Adaptive Android Launcher Icons: Rebuilt the Android launcher icons (
flutter_launcher_icons) to support modern Android adaptive theming and monochromatic icons. - New Windows Icon: Updated the
.icofile to match the new high-fidelity Kerlyss branding. - Support the Developer: Added a new "Buy me a coffee" tile in the Settings menu that routes directly to Patreon for users who wish to support the project.
- Color Tweaks: Refined the
AetherColorspalette for a slightly sleeker, warmer deep-matte black background.
