Veguide v0.2.4

Android result details now stay in one continuous list. The navigation at the bottom scrolls to Ingredients, Sources or Company concerns, follows your scrolling and keeps the concern count visible. Reduced-motion settings are respected.

Each ingredient now has a checkmark, an X or a question mark in both the Android app and browser extension, with accessible English and German labels. The website and README screenshots have been refreshed.

The Firefox XPI is unsigned. The macOS companion supports Intel and Apple Silicon and is not Apple-notarized. See the installation instructions for browser requirements and Windows prerequisites.

Chromium extension ID: bljmddjdbglldnbdhdfdlbilieoheend. This stays the same across releases signed with the same key.

Veguide v0.2.3

The complete-list checkbox on Android now has proper spacing between the indicator and its label. The label stays aligned when it wraps, and tapping anywhere in the row still toggles the checkbox.

Includes the AI ingredient parsing, translations and tabbed result details from v0.2.2, plus the latest website screenshot updates.

Veguide v0.2.2

Ingredient parsing and result details have been updated.

• AI now supplies ingredient names parsed from the original composition, with assessments and translations in the app language. Section headings and doses stay out of the ingredient list, and chemical names keep their parentheses and identifiers.
• Known animal-derived ingredients remain detectable even if the AI omits them. The regression covers gelatin and shellac inside capsule-shell and printing-ink sections.
• Android results have Ingredients, Sources and Concerns tabs. Concerns show a count badge, each tab keeps its scroll position, and the action buttons remain visible.
• Rounded app and extension icons, plus real app screenshots on the website and in the README.

Veguide v0.2.0

Veguide 0.2.0 includes the Android app, browser extensions and desktop companions for Linux, Windows and macOS.

• Android now uses app.veguide. This is a new app identity, so it starts with fresh history, settings and connections. It does not update the old org.veguide.android install.
• The browser context menu follows the extension language, or the browser language when no preference is saved.
• Company assessments cite searched sources and stay separate from product classifications. Photo previews have bottom controls, horizontal paging and swipe-down dismissal.
• Browser downloads include Firefox XPI, signed Chromium CRX and an unpacked Chromium ZIP with a stable extension ID.
• Companion packages include the registration installer: Linux x86_64, Windows x86_64 and universal macOS for Intel and Apple Silicon. Windows registration uses per-user registry keys without administrator access. See installation instructions.
• Regional product packs live in one continuously updated release.

Download veguide.apk or add Veguide to Obtainium through veguide.app. The website and README explain browser installation and ChatGPT setup.
