Installation
- Clone the repository:
git clone <repository-url>
- Navigate to the project directory:
cd KaX-Terminal-Enhanced - Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Usage
- Run the application:
python src/main.py
- Terminal Commands:
clear,cls— Clear the terminal display.exit,quit— Close the terminal.help,h,hlp,hl,hel,helpme— Show help and available commands.notepad— Open the notepad interface.ballgame,ball,game,ballPhysicsGame— Launch the ball physics simulation game.echo <message>— Display a message.version— Show terminal version.resources— Display system resource usage.- Add your own commands via

Ball Physics Game
Launch via terminal command:
ballgame or ballPhysicsGame
Features:
- Place balls with left-click inside the circle.
- Drag balls with right mouse button.
- Balls bounce and collide with each other.
- Sidebar settings:
- Ball radius, color, outline, opacity
- Initial velocity (X/Y)
- Gravity, bounce factor
- Simulation speed
- Circle size, outline thickness
- Background color
- Random color toggle
- Pause/resume simulation
Customization
- Themes:
Change appearance mode and color theme insrc/ui/themes.py. - Add Commands:
Extendsrc/logic/commands.pyfor new commands. - Add Modules/Interfaces:
Place new modules inassets/Interfaces/and load them dynamically. - UI Widgets:
Customize or extend widgets insrc/ui/custom_widgets.py.
Documentation
Adding a New Command
- Open
src/logic/commands.py. - Add your command to the
commands_listdictionary. - Implement its logic in
execute_command.
Extending the Ball Physics Game
- Add new settings to the sidebar in
ballPhysGame.py. - Use sliders, entries, checkboxes, and buttons for user input.
- Update ball or simulation logic as needed.

Adds a countdown command that can count down in seconds, minutes and hours. - Modules:
Adds a module folder where users can write their own code and place modules in this folder to customize KaX Terminal even more, there is already an official repository created by us, the repository for the official modules can be found here: https://github.com/D3stinyDev/KaX-Terminal-Modules/tree/main
You can also install unofficial modules, these are created by our community, when installing unofficial modules then you could potentially risk your device, as the unofficial modules are not checked or overviewed by our developers. Release Notes
In this release, we've introduced several significant updates and improvements:
- New Command for Settings: We've replaced the previous Settings interface with a streamlined command. You can now configure your terminal colors using the command:
setColor <TextColor> <BackgroundColor>

Bug Fixes: We've addressed several critical bugs that were affecting the terminal's usability, ensuring a smoother and more stable experience.

Notepad Feature: A new Notepad feature has been added, allowing you to write and save text as
.txtfiles. Additionally, you can now drag and drop text files directly into the Notepad to open them seamlessly. -
Removal of the Alias Command: We have removed the alias command due to its inconsistent behavior and inability to meet expectations. This decision was made to improve overall functionality and user experience.
