Highlights

  • All 92 canonical tools now declare MCP output schemas, allowing ChatGPT and other clients to validate structured results and plan safer follow-up calls.
  • Runtime dependency minimums and transitive locks were refreshed to clear the current security advisories.
  • Release validation now exercises document publish and revoke deterministically against AFFiNE 0.27.3 without waiting for the upstream new-account sharing delay.

What Changed

  • Structured MCP results
    • Added object-shaped outputSchema metadata to every canonical tool.
    • Aligned document, frame, list, and fallible receipt schemas with actual runtime results.
    • Added metadata, round-trip, and success/failure contract coverage.
  • Dependencies and security
    • Raised @modelcontextprotocol/sdk to ^1.30.0 and undici to ^6.28.0.
    • Refreshed locked @hono/node-server, fast-uri, hono, ip-address, and socket.io-parser versions.
    • npm audit --audit-level=low reports zero vulnerabilities.
  • Release validation
    • Configures only the isolated comprehensive-test AFFiNE instance with a zero new-account share delay.
    • Adds 30-second bounds to the isolated sign-in and GraphQL configuration requests.

Compatibility

  • No tools were removed and no existing input is required to change.
  • Node.js 20 or newer remains required.
  • Text content remains available alongside the structured result contracts.

Validation Evidence

  • Node.js 20 and 24: npm ci && npm run ci
  • npm audit --audit-level=low
  • AFFINE_REVISION=0.27.3 npm run test:comprehensive (15/15 focused tests; 107/107 regression checks)
  • AFFINE_REVISION=0.27.3 npm run test:e2e (21/21 integration tests; 14/14 Playwright tests)
  • Packed-tarball smoke on Node.js 20 and 24
  • npm publish --dry-run --access public --ignore-scripts
