This WordPress plugin allows you to display a random quote in the footer of your website using a shortcode. It also provides customization options to change the color and font of the displayed quote.
- Download the
Random Quote for Digital Agencies.zipfile from the latest release on the GitHub repository. - Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Click on the Upload Plugin button and select the
Random Quote for Digital Agencies.zipfile you downloaded. - Activate the plugin once it's uploaded and installed.
To display a random quote in the footer of your website, use the following shortcode anywhere in your WordPress posts, pages, or widgets:
You can customize the color and font of the displayed quote from the WordPress admin area.
- Go to Settings > Random Quote.
- Set your preferred quote color using the color picker.
- Enter your desired font family for the quote text.
- Click the Save Changes button to apply your customizations.
The plugin also allows you to manage quotes from the admin area.
- Go to Settings > Random Quote.
- Click on the Manage Quotes tab.
- You can view all current quotes in a table.
- To edit a quote, click on the Edit link next to it.
- To delete a quote, click on the Delete link next to it.
- To add a new quote, scroll down to the Add New Quote section, enter the quote text, and click the Add New Quote button.
