A portable Windows checklist and reminder for the backups you do yourself.

Download and run

Download Backup-Reminder-0.2.1-win-x64.zip, extract it to a permanent folder and run Backup-Reminder.exe. Windows x64; tested on Windows 11. The .NET runtime is included. Keep the included license and Microsoft notices together. The unsigned app may prompt a Windows unknown-publisher warning.

Updating

Close Backup Reminder, replace all supplied application files in the same app folder and reopen it. Keep the separate data folder. Keeping the executable at the same path preserves its reminder task; after moving it, save the schedule from the new location. There is no automatic updater.

File > Back up configuration saves settings, progress and custom icons/sound. Restore leaves reminders off: review paths, then enable and save the reminder schedule. Configuration backups contain personal paths and preferences; keep them private.

The app launches your tools and records confirmations; it does not perform or verify backups. Scheduled reminders require a signed-in Windows session.
