Portable Windows x64 release for the ChatGPT Windows desktop app.
Warning: Watchdog force-closes ChatGPT after computer inactivity and an expired countdown, even during active work. Unsaved work may be lost. Pause monitoring before leaving important work unattended. Browser sessions are not supported.
Download the ZIP, extract all files to a permanent folder and run ChatGPT-Watchdog.exe. The .NET runtime and required license notices are included. Defaults are 45 minutes inactive, a 120-second warning and 60-minute postponement. Review startup and timings before saving settings.
Includes Help > Report an issue, configurable warning sounds, foreground/always-on-top options, pause/resume and light/dark appearance. See the user guide for details.
The app is unsigned; Windows may request a security check. The accompanying SHA256 file can verify the ZIP.
Validation: 54 focused tests and isolated portable-executable preview checks passed. Full-duration locked monitoring and sign-in startup remain unverified.
