Application Flow 1.2.0
Chinese and English interface support.
- Choose English or 中文 under Settings → Application Flow → Interface language.
- Language preference is saved per vault; settings/dashboard update immediately.
- Forms, buttons, command names, recruitment-stage labels, validation messages and summary counts are translated.
- New preparation note headings follow the selected language; existing notes and user text are untouched.
- Metadata keys and stored market/status/priority values remain stable for compatibility.
- Free-text suggestions preserve their original wording.
Replace main.js, manifest.json and styles.css in .obsidian/plugins/dgracy-application-flow/, preserve data.json, and reload the plugin. Reopen an existing form after changing language.
Automated data, plugin loading, language persistence and mocked form tests pass. Native Obsidian desktop/mobile UI verification remains pending.
Application Flow 1.1.1
Rename to Application Flow and fix the community plugin ID collision.
- Name: Application Flow; ID: dgracy-application-flow.
- Includes all 1.1.0 market tabs, custom suggestions, independent drafts and collapsed optional fields.
- Application database and preparation notes remain compatible.
Upgrade: disable the old Zhijie Deng plugin entry, quit Obsidian, rename its manually installed folder from job-application-tracker to dgracy-application-flow, and replace main.js, manifest.json and styles.css. Keep data.json if present to preserve path settings. Reopen Obsidian and enable Application Flow.
Do not use the unrelated community entry with the old ID to update this plugin. Real native desktop/mobile UI testing remains pending.
Job Application Tracker 1.1.0
Market-aware application forms.
- UK / China / Other tabs, with separate drafts retained while switching tabs.
- UK sponsorship is hidden and omitted from saved China and other-market records.
- Other accepts an actual country or region; these records remain accessible under Other in the dashboard.
- Free-text role types and sources with market-specific and historical suggestions.
- Optional fields are collapsed under More information.
- Job description and requirements appear only when preparation notes are enabled.
- Existing Markdown data and the original workflow remain compatible.
Update manually by replacing main.js, manifest.json and styles.css in your plugin folder, then reload the plugin. No database migration is needed.
Validation: syntax checks, eight tests covering data, plugin loading, and mocked form interactions. Native desktop/mobile Obsidian UI testing remains to be completed.
Job Application Tracker 1.0.0
Initial standalone Obsidian plugin release.
- Native application entry and update forms; no QuickAdd or Dataview dependency.
- Central Markdown database compatible with the original example workflow.
- Stable application IDs, duplicate checks, stage/deadline updates and history.
- Optional Markdown preparation notes with job description and requirements.
- Searchable dashboard with UK, China and other-market filtering.
- Configurable database and preparation-note paths.
Manual installation: download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css into /.obsidian/plugins/job-application-tracker/, reload Obsidian, and enable Job Application Tracker under Community plugins. The plugin has not yet been listed in the community directory.
Validation: JavaScript syntax checks, data-model regression tests against the original demo, and mocked Obsidian plugin loading. Real desktop/mobile UI testing remains to be completed. Back up your database before using a first release with live applications.
