Release v0.9.6

This release brings a major overhaul to the web interface, introduces comprehensive telemetry logging and visualization, and includes critical stability fixes for both firmware and proxy.

🚀 New Features

Telemetry History & Visualization

  • Interactive Charts: A new built-in telemetry viewer allows you to analyze historical sensor data directly in the web UI. Click on any sensor value (Voltage, Current, Temp, etc.) to view its history.
  • CSV Logging: The proxy now automatically logs all telemetry data to CSV files with "Noon-to-Noon" rotation (one file per imaging session).
  • Configurable Retention: Added a setting to define how many nights of logs to keep (default: 10).
  • Full Sensor Support: Visualization is available for all metrics: Voltage, Current (Amps), Power, Ambient Temp/Humidity, Dew Point, Lens Temp, and PWM output.

Modern Web Interface (UI/UX Overhaul)

  • Dark Mode & Glassmorphism: A completely redesigned visual theme using modern dark mode aesthetics and glassmorphism effects.
  • Responsive Design: Improved layout for mobile and desktop screens.
  • Persistence: Section states (collapsed/expanded) are now saved across reboots.
  • Header Improvements: New status badges for connection status and firmware version.

Dew Control

  • Experimental Profile: Added a new minimum temperature dew profile (experimental).

🛠 Fixes & Improvements

Backend & Firmware

  • Boolean Persistence Fix: Resolved a critical bug where boolean settings (e.g., "Power Startup States", "Heater Enable") would not save correctly due to a library compatibility issue.
  • Serial Stability: Refactored serial communication to use a fixed-size static buffer, eliminating heap fragmentation and improving long-term reliability.
  • Null Sensor Handling: Added graceful handling for null/missing sensor values to prevent crashes or errant data.
  • Backup/Restore: Fixed race conditions in the backup/restore process to ensure reliable configuration transfer.

Documentation

  • Updated project documentation to reflect the new UI and telemetry features.
