Which Version Should I Choose?

As of the 1.7.16 release, EWS Editor for Dynamics 365 now comes in two builds:
- A build that utilizes the 2.2.1.0 version of the EWS Managed API.
- A build that utilizes the 15.0.913.15 version of the EWS Managed API.
The 2.2.1.0 version of the EWS Managed API is an updated build that includes fixes for deserialization issues which can commonly occur when using older builds of the API to connect to Exchange Online. Therefore, these issues may not be reproducible in EWS Editor Dynamics 365 unless the correct build is being used.
- If you are using Dynamics 365 Online, it is recommended that you use the 2.2.1.0 version.
- If you are using Dynamics 365 On Premise between build 8.0-9.0, use the 15.0.913.15 version.
Note: The version of the EWS Managed API included in each build is considered an approximate version of what is utilized in their respective D365 environment counterparts.
