v0.4.0
AI assistant support (MCP)
- MCP / AI in Settings turns on a local server (127.0.0.1, token-protected, off by default) that an assistant such as Claude Code can connect to.
- The assistant can look up your world: quests by zone and level, what stands around a point and which way it faces, name and id clashes, and optionally lore from warcraft.wiki.gg (off until you allow it).
- It can write quests, scenes, boss fights, patrols, loot and new NPCs, objects and items in your open project. Every change is one undoable AI: … step.
- Editing pauses for a moment while it writes, so your changes and its cannot cross.
- It never writes to your world database. Three ready-made workflows: quest chain, legendary item, populate a place.
See the AI / MCP guide.
Also in this release
- NPCs walk their paths and wander in the 3D preview, with Play, Pause and Reset.
- The World draws transports and docked vessels; instances draw as dungeons, raids and battlegrounds.
- Fixes: the 3D view no longer goes black away from light areas, and many smaller fixes.
Builds are not code-signed; see the install guide for getting past the first-run warning.

v0.1.0
The first release of ACORE Quest Creator: build and script quests for your AzerothCore server, then export them as SQL, without editing database tables by hand.
What's in it
- Quest chains on a canvas. Make new quests or bring in existing chains from your world database, and see how they connect.
- Givers and objectives. Choose who offers and takes back a quest, and what the player must kill, use, collect or explore.
- Quest scripting. Describe what happens around a quest as scenes: an NPC speaks on accept, a talk option gives credit, an escort walks a path.
- Combat wizard. Design how an NPC fights, from one ability to a boss with phases, adds and health thresholds.
- New NPCs and objects. Pick how they look, their faction and weapons; make readable books and notes, and chests with loot.
- Quest map. Place spawns on the world map with the game's zone art, snap them to the ground and draw patrol routes.
- Test in game. Get the GM commands to reload and try a quest on your test server.
- Export. Review every change, then export an SQL patch or apply it to a dev database. Your live world database is only ever read.
