v0.2.0-alpha: Added Config File and Installer Enhancements
v0.2.0-alpha
Summary: This alpha release introduces a new configuration system and updates to the installer script.
New Features and Changes:
Configuration File: Added support for a configuration file that allows users to specify directories to ignore. This enables dynamic changes to the behavior of the application without needing to rebuild the binary.
Installer Update: Modified the installer to handle the configuration file properly.
Environment Variable: Updated the jd function in the shell script to create an environment variable (CONFIG_PATH) for specifying the path to the configuration file.
Impact on Users:
Users can now customize directory ignore patterns via the new configuration file.
The installer will now set up the configuration file automatically.
The jd function in the shell script has been updated to use the CONFIG_PATH environment variable, which may require users to update their environment or scripts accordingly.
Installation/Upgrade Instructions:
Run the updated installer to ensure the new configuration file is set up correctly.
Update your environment to include the CONFIG_PATH variable if using the jd function.
Known Issues:
As this is an alpha release, compatibility and installer functionality may still be under testing. Please report any issues or feedback.
