ZXDB v0.1.0

First fully working public release of ZXDB.

ZXDB is an esxDOS dot command for ZX Spectrum computers with DivTiesus DivMMC that allows
users to search for and download games directly to the SD card via Wi-Fi.

Features

• Search ZXDB for ZX Spectrum games by title.
• Display up to ten numbered results.
• Show the game title, year, file type and 48K/128K model when available.
• Download TAP, TZX, Z80 and other supported file formats.
• Show the current Wi-Fi status, SSID, IP address and MAC address.
• Automatically attempt to reconnect the ESP8266 if the Wi-Fi connection is lost.

Requirements

• A ZX Spectrum compatible with DivTiesus.
• An SD card with esxDOS.
• A DivTiesus DivMMC with its ESP8266 Wi-Fi module
• Wi-Fi configured using .wconf.

Installation

1. Download the compiled ZXDB file attached to this release.
2. Copy it to the /BIN directory of the esxDOS SD card.
3. Insert the card in DivTiesus SD or microSD slot with the ZX Spectrum switched off and unplugged.
4. Start the computer and configure Wi-Fi using .wconf if necessary.
5. Run .ZXDB -h to display the command help.
