What's new

• Native Claude Code support for local foreground CLI sessions, live-verified on macOS with Claude Code 2.1.285. PID registry ownership and process-birth checks identify the session without SDK dependencies or injected agent commands.
• Independent Codex, Claude, and GJC packages for agent discovery and transcript rendering.
• Per-agent viewer sizing: @agent_transcript_size_codex, _claude, and _gjc override @agent_transcript_size_all. All agents default to a top-positioned 90% viewer; explicit CLI --size takes precedence.
• Stronger session and snapshot identity checks, including canonical-path handling, to reject stale or changed sources.

Configuration change

Rename @agent_transcript_size to @agent_transcript_size_all, then reload the plugin. Agent-specific sizes are optional. Sizes describe the viewer, not the remaining agent space. Existing viewers retain their geometry; close and reopen them to apply new sizes.

Support boundaries

• Codex 0.158.0 requires codex --no-daemon; shared-daemon panes are not supported.
• GJC registry discovery is macOS-only.
• Claude renders persisted conversation history. Unsaved rewind state is not tracked; compact shows the selected summary and subsequent chain rather than reconstructing the original full history. Concurrent writers to one session cannot be separated by pane.
• Linux binaries are cross-compiled; live Linux agent behavior remains unverified.

Verification

Full race tests, go vet, installer regression tests, and all four platform builds passed locally. GitHub Actions release verification, build, and publication succeeded.

Changes

• Default viewer layout is now top / 95%, with focus enabled. Numeric sizes still mean viewer rows/columns.
• Unsupported panes show Agent Transcript: Run this from a supported agent pane. without opening a viewer. Removed screen-capture fallback.
• Accept both cli and vscode Codex rollout origins when the foreground process owns the file, fixing local resume of sessions created through app-server. Noninteractive/internal/subagent origins remain excluded.
• Add actionable guidance when no local Codex transcript is available.
• Refresh README, supported-agent links, platform table, and configuration examples.
• Remove architecture documentation from the tracked source tree (local notes are retained).

Compatibility

• Codex 0.158.0: use codex --no-daemon (or codex --no-daemon resume). Shared-daemon and remote-server sessions remain unsupported.
• GJC automatic discovery remains macOS-only.
• Existing Codex fork/clear ambiguity limitations remain documented in the README.

Updating

Update the plugin with TPM/tpack and reload it. The installer downloads the binary pinned by VERSION and verifies SHA-256. Existing tmux option values are not overwritten: to adopt the new defaults, run tmux set -g @agent_transcript_position top and tmux set -g @agent_transcript_size '95%', then close and reopen the viewer.

Verification

Local race-enabled tests, go vet, installer failure/update/concurrency/platform tests, and all four cross-builds passed. GitHub Actions verification, build, and publish jobs also passed.
