Automatic updates & fixes for big collections

Now that all major features from 1.8.10 are ported, 2.0.0 is moving from alpha to beta.
Minor bugs and some rough edges are still expected.

Warning

This is a prerelease version that will replace your existing installation.
If you are still using v1.x.x BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE INSTALLING
In COMPASS v1.x.x, go to Settings > Manage Data > Backup user data
You cannot go back from v2.0.0 to v1.x.x without restoring a backup

• On windows, updates will once again automatically be downloaded and installed.

Improvements

• Improved performance on large collections
• The description field of items now supports markdown, which will be rendered in the info panel on the right
• Reduce tag background opacity to 70%

• Fixed crash when webdriver resolve times out
• Fix various crashes related to sorting
• Fixed filter dropdowns for author and publisher not updating when importing new items
• Disable confirm when creating a new tag until a name is entered
