Your review is never lost again

• Saved versions. Every rebuild first saves the current result, so you can compare it or bring it back from 3. Review → Saved build versions. Your review carries over to the new build: edited captions, moved and removed images, and bulk tag edits. Images that didn't change are stored only once.
• Confirm the right images. ✅ Definitely this character adds a clear image as an extra reference, so later builds find more of the character. Doubtful images (a weak match, or close to another character) now come first in Review, and Identity references and feedback preview shows what your confirmations and rejections change before you rebuild.
• Frames can be restored after cleaning. 1. Scan episodes → 💾 Disk space → ↶ Restore missing frames brings the deleted frames back from the original episodes, without scanning again. A project cleaned with “Delete all frames” can be built again.
• Preview the settings. 2. Pick the character → 🔎 Preview these settings tries the current settings on 12 frames and shows why each crop was kept or left out, without touching your finished images.

You can keep reviewing while a scan or a build runs; only the character being rebuilt waits until it's done.

On the command line: versions, confirm, feedback, restore-frames and build --preview. alds.bat <command> --help lists the options.

Updating

• With git: run git pull in the program folder.
• With the ZIP: replace the alds folder with the new one. Your projects folder, settings.json and .venv stay as they are.
• Projects scanned before this version can restore their frames too; the episode is checked by its size, frame rate, duration and frame times.
