First public release.

Storage Rescue is an instruction-only Agent Skill that frees up storage on a Mac without losing data. It gives your agent two modes:

  • Offload: you have an external drive. Big files are copied to it, verified by SHA-256 twice, and only then deleted from the Mac.
  • Reclaim: no drive. Caches and the things you decide you no longer want are deleted.

The agent asks you before every move and every deletion, with grouped questions and clear options.

Or download storage-rescue-1.0.0.zip below, unzip it, and put the storage-rescue folder in your agent's skills directory (for example ~/.claude/skills/ for Claude Code). Per-agent directories are in the README.

What this release contains

  • skills/storage-rescue/: SKILL.md and five reference files (offload protocol, external drives and NTFS, reclaim catalog, app data, System Data).
