so Gatekeeper will refuse to open it with a normal double-click.
After installing, either right-click mead.app → Open (and confirm
once), or run:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/mead.app

Requires Homebrew already installed. Apple Silicon
(arm64) only.
