SnapKey Mapper 1.0.8
Help for people who are stuck, and a quicker way back after a reboot: Copy the diagnostic (menu ☰, or the link at the bottom of each setup step) puts your phone model, system version and the state of each step on the clipboard, never the app or link you chose, ready to paste in a GitHub issue (there is now a form for it). A Quick settings tile opens the app, which starts listening again. Every Android and ColorOS menu name quoted in the app and on the site now matches the official text of the phone's own system, in the 8 languages. Tested on a real OPPO Find X9 Pro (ColorOS 16).

Check before installing: sha256sum on the file, and apksigner verify --print-certs (or the AppVerifier app). If either differs, do not install.
Google Play Protect may say "Harmful app blocked": the app comes from GitHub, asks for sensitive permissions (log reading, display over other apps) and its developer is not verified by Google yet. Check the fingerprint above, then "Install anyway". If Android then refuses "Display over other apps": App info › ⋮ › Allow restricted settings.

SnapKey Mapper 1.0.7
Zero friction: the app now listens by itself as soon as it is set up and something (app, shortcut or link) is chosen. The Start/Stop button is gone, a change of target or gesture applies at once, and the notification Android requires while listening is silent. Tested on a real OPPO Find X9 Pro (ColorOS 16).

SnapKey Mapper 1.0.6
Fixes the setup stopping at "ADB pairing is required": right after pairing, the phone may not know the new key for a moment, so the connection is now retried. Listening now starts by itself once the app is set up, the leftover "Pairing..." notification is cleared, and the last screen says Wireless debugging can be turned off. Tested end to end on a real OPPO Find X9 Pro (ColorOS 16).

SnapKey Mapper 1.0.5
Tested on a real OPPO Find X9 Pro (ColorOS 16, Android 16). The setup now asks for ColorOS's hidden switch before pairing ("Disable system optimisation", only shown when the phone is in English), explains how to unfold the pairing-code notification, and shows a clear message instead of "Stream closed" when ColorOS refuses the permission. Also: a step for notifications, an "Already done, continue" button on each automatic check, Wi-Fi detected with a VPN on.

SnapKey Mapper 1.0.4
Setup that never gets stuck: Wi-Fi is detected even with a VPN on, Developer options also when USB debugging is on, a new step turns notifications on (the pairing code is typed in one), and every automatic check has an "Already done, continue" button for phones that report it wrong. Settings screens a phone does not have fall back to the main Settings screen.
