Youtube channel link breaking when opening in a new tab

Which things do they block, hide, or unbreak?

A youtube account link, when left clicking on it, it does not break the link and it stays functional. When middle clicking on it, it breaks the link, (going from https://www.youtube.com/@Derek_Gerard to https://www.youtube.com/DerekGerard which displays the 404 youtube monkey).
The same result is replicated when pasting the link into the URL bar and when right clicking the link to open in a new tab

As far as I can currently tell after I've tested it with some hours apart, the bug seems to be with YouTube itself server-side, and is (thankfully?) not caused by my lists.

From what I can tell, the bug is indeed server-side, so it's not caused by my lists; and from what I can currently tell it's not caused by the lists in the screenshot above either.
